Ladies Groups

Activities for the ladies

Ladies Breakfast

We meet every 3 months at 9.00am (quarterly) at 9.00am for a simple continental-style breakfast, followed by guest speaker and discussion. Sessions end around 10.45am.

We’ve also enjoyed a wide range of speakers – as well as the gentle and friendly fellowship that helps sustain us.

We are always pleased to find new speakers, and especially pleased to welcome new folk to join in the fellowship over breakfast.

We usually meet in December, March, June and September.

Please keep your eye on the Rocky News for future specials.

Ladies Fellowship

Our Ladies Fellowship meets on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm, with a variety of speakers. Occasional outings add to the all-year-round programme.

We celebrated 50 years of continuous fellowship in the autumn of 2010… quite a special time for us.

With fresh energy, we’ re looking forward to many more years of fellowship.

There’s a place for you …and, ladies of all ages, you are most welcome to join in.

For further information please contact Joan Newman or Brenda Brundall.

Cameo

Cameo meets on Wednesday afternoons at 2.30pm for a varied programme.

Occasional lunches are always special, and the occasional outings are not to be missed. The general midweek meetings are an important gathering point for an increasing number of ladies who find this to be a comfortable and popular time to meet.

We may be more than 50 in number, but there’s still a place specially reserved for you.

Please call in on us one Wednesday, or contact Mary Hutchinson for more information. We will be pleased to see you, and we know you will feel welcomed and at ease among friends.

In October 2008, we celebrated the beginnings of this group, which started 80 years ago on the Shipfield site. Week by week, every Wednesday feels special to us, and you are welcome to join with us.

This is when we come and meet each other
